Graduation requirements

In Ontario, high school students must earn 30 credits, including 18 compulsory courses and 12 electives, pass the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) or complete the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Course (OSSLC), and complete 40 hours of community service to graduate with an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
At Al-Manarat High School, in addition to the Ontario graduation requirements, students must complete four Quranic and Arabic courses, two religion courses, and 100 volunteer hours to fulfill the school’s specific graduation criteria.
